Peter J. Adamski Grave Marker

This grave marker, which is at Hackensack Cemetery, located at 289 Hackensack Avenue Hackensack, New Jersey reveals that Peter J. Adamski served in the U.S. Army during World War II and died on April 25, 2001 at the age of 84.

Peter J. Adamski was not on the Original Wall Unit List, which is in Hackensack High School but this confirms his connection to Hackensack by being buried within its borders since passing and forevermore.

Note that we have listed this Peter J. Adamski under <Did You Know>, but there is a Peter C. Adamski with just a different middle initial, which was listed on the Original Wall Unit, on the Dedication Page of 1946 Yearbook, and the Plaque at City Hall, which lists those who were Killed in Action.  There is also a Frank W. Adamski, who I do not know at the present time if he is related to either.

Peter J. Adamski could have been a cousin to either or both of these men who lived in town and never graduated from Hackensack, or he went unnoticed, and was not put on the Wall Unit.   Peter J. Adamski could have also been a cousin who lived in the surrounding towns.  I have just no way of knowing for sure at the present time.
